Only candidates who have received their undergraduate degrees from psychology departments and master's degrees from clinical psychology programs with thesis are accepted to the Clinical Psychology Doctorate Program.
Requirements to apply for the program:
-Having received at least 75 points from ALES;
- Exams and equivalent scores declared by the Council of Higher Education to be used instead of ALES and specified in ANNEX 1 can be used instead of ALES.
- ALES Requirement for Student Candidates with a Doctorate Degree: Doctoral graduates who apply to graduate programs affiliated with TED University, Graduate Programs Institute are not required to take ALES, and among candidates with this degree in all programs, those who do not take ALES are considered to have an ALES score of 70.
-Having an academic average of at least 3.00 out of 4 in master's degree
-It is necessary to meet the English language proficiency criteria of TED University English Language School. To ensure English language proficiency, it is necessary to meet one of the following criteria:
- Minimum 70 points from TEDU-EPE/İYS exam
- Minimum 80 points from YDS/e-YDS exam
- Minimum 80 points from YÖKDİL
- Minimum score of 79 on TOEFL-IBT exam (composition score at least 20)

Information About the TEDÜ English Proficiency Exam
English language proficiency can be determined through the English Proficiency Exam (EPE) administered by our University. National or international language exams whose equivalency for graduate programs has been determined by the Senate may also be used as proof of English proficiency. Graduate applicants who cannot demonstrate English proficiency may take the English Proficiency Exam (EPE) to be held on August 4–5, 2026.
Graduates of our University are not required to provide additional proof of English proficiency for enrollment in graduate programs.
Steps to Follow During the Application Period to Take the Exam
Applicants wishing to take the exam must complete their applications by July 29, 2026, at the latest.
